SOARING
Each fall art takes center stage at our annual SOARING: Community Arts Exhibition. This event showcases the artistic talents of DCS staff, parents, community visual, literary and performing artists and volunteers. Members of the DCS family and community volunteers assist in every aspect of planning and implementing this event including coordinating the Opening Reception, participating as visual, literary
and performing artists, marketing and promoting, and displaying artwork.

INTERNATIONAL DAY
International Day is an annual festival celebrating diversity at Drew Charter from Elementary to High School and featuring student artwork. International Day is held each spring on the Drew Campus. Parents, staff, students, and community members are invited to take part in this enlightening event which features a variety of food, national attire, dance, games, artifacts, artworks, music and activities. The International Club and Visual Arts Department incorporate A Taste of Drew and East Lake, selected artworks from Elementary through Senior Academy artists and unique performances at International Day. Volunteers represent different countries, create and donate food reflecting that culture and perform. The result is a unique cultural experience for all.
